Dundrum Town Centre to welcome an experiential foodhall and restaurant by Donnybrook Fair

Due to launch in the coming months at Pembroke Square, the exciting food destination will be the retailer’s sixth Irish store. A 900 sq m space, Donnybrook Fair at Dundrum Town Centre will bring with it an exceptionally premium look and feel. Entirely devoted to celebrating food, visitors will be taken on an experiential culinary journey from the moment they enter the retail food market on the ground floor, right through to the restaurant and bar space on Level 1. The new space for Donnybrook Fair at Pembroke Square enhances the food and beverage offer at Dundrum, which is a focus for Hammerson across its European portfolio as its flagship destinations proactively change the brand mix to include more experiential offers.

Moorfields Eye Hospital to open eye care diagnostic hub at Brent Cross

Moorfields will be taking 15,000 sq ft of space across two floors, in a unit previously occupied by New Look. The agreement is the latest example of how Hammerson, as joint owner and asset manager, is collaborating with businesses and public sector partners to repurpose retail space for alternative uses, including the creation of wellness and community services. The Moorfields hub will benefit from the destination’s easy access via road and public transport and unique role at the heart of the local community.

Louisa Wickham, Medical Director at Moorfields Eye Hospital added, “This new diagnostic hub at Brent Cross is a unique opportunity to provide medical eye testing to our patients in a convenient location. Our diagnostic hubs have already proved very popular with patients, and opening another allows more of them to access these services.

Treetop Adventure Golf climbs to new heights with Bullring opening

Mini golf and leisure operator, Treetop Adventure Golf, has opened its 18,500 sq ft unit at Hammerson’s flagship destination, Bullring & Grand Central, with almost a quarter of a million holes being played in the first two weeks of trading. Working with local suppliers, the unique leisure experience features a variety of F&B offerings within its seated dining area, ‘The Market’. Guests can enjoy handmade pizza from Pizza Cabana, a selection of tropical cocktails and mocktails from The Thirsty Toucan bar, plus coffee and sweet treats from the Jungle Buzz Café.

Elizabeth Stanway, CEO and co-founder of Treetop Adventure Golf, added: “At Treetop Adventure Golf, we love to help our guests have amazing experiences, something so many have missed out on for over a year. We’re delighted to have opened our jungle doors at Treetop Bullring, and can’t wait to see Birmingham’s visitors making treasured memories together.”

New NEXT Beauty & Home Store in The Oracle

The opening of NEXT Beauty & Home store is part of the expansion of NEXT’s beauty business. The Reading Store will stock a wide variety of skincare, make-up and fragrance and host premium brands including; Chanel, YSL, Bare Minerals, Benefit, Clinique, Estee Lauder, Kiehls, Lancome, Too Faced, Urban Decay alongside many more. The store will also offer a range of premium beauty services.

Simon Wolfson, NEXT’s Chief Executive said: “This is an exciting opportunity to work with existing and new beauty brand partners to create a new force in beauty retailing – bringing our Online business to life through premium store environments in some of the UK’s most important retail locations.”

Global interactive fitness platform Peloton comes to Bullring & Grand Central

Peloton opens a new 1,700 sq ft showroom in Bullring & Grand Central. The experiential store gives customers the opportunity to get to grips with the Peloton bike, and learn more about the at-home workouts the brand is renowned for. Bullring & Grand Central was identified as a key location for the brand outside of London and forms part of Peloton’s expansion plans in the UK.

Martyn Clark, International Director of Real Estate Development for Peloton, added: “Bullring & Grand Central stood out as a key location for our first showroom opening in the West Midlands, and we look forward to introducing more people to the Peloton brand.”
